Even a coolish, weekday evening walk with their dogs at a near-deserted Seaport brought recognition and requests for photographs.
"How are you settling in?," a young woman asked.
"Thanks for bringing Hollywood to Launceston," a man said after a quick chat.
The newly engaged couple have returned to Mr Rice's home in Riverside after a controversial end to the popular reality TV show.
Bad blood surfaced at the final show when Jacqui's original marriage partner on the show, Ryan Donnelly, sniped at the couple over their relationship.
"Jacqui's gone from a Kia to a Ferrari," Clint quipped in reply.
In the meantime Jacqui was granted an interim restraining order in the Launceston Magistrates Court to stop Mr Donnelly's social media posts.

Both were overwhelmed at times with the demands of the show and the hustle, bustle and noise of Sydney.
"It is nice to be back in Launceston and to settle a little bit after the chaos of the show," Mr Rice, a former professional golfer said.
"We love walking through Seaport, around the Gorge and spending time with our dogs.
"Hit of tennis at home and some golf so yes we're enjoying being back here and being around family and friends.
"We really love our peaceful lives here in Tassie where we can watch the sunset and sit outside and smell the fresh air, go for hikes out in the bush, grab a coffee just do the mundane things as well."
Both were somewhat reluctant to discuss the show but are happy with the outcome.
"We ended up with what we went on there for," Clint said.
"Jacq and I both went on the show to find a lifelong partner and settle down and get married and that's what we ended up with so that goal was achieved."
For her part Jacqui said Clint was the only thing that made the show rewarding.
"Personally I wouldn't have done the show again," she said.
After meeting on the show they travelled to New Zealand in January to meet her family.
"Obviously Clint's family is here in Tasmania so I've met them and we go round to his family's place on holidays and for example on Good Friday we will be around at his mum's place," Jacqui said.
"Communication is a massive thing for the two of us we love making friends and spending time with our friends and family."
The show has opened up a number of opportunities especially in social media and e-commerce.

"The show's over but social media is still ongoing and we are flooded with people who want to speak to us," she said.
"My inbox is full of thousands of congratulations messages.
"We've got small businesses who we are working with so we are very connected to all of Australia now and in fact the UK.
"We have so much support so much love.
"We're spending our time going on podcasts and talking to the media but also just on my own TikTok where I have over 100,000 followers now.
"People want to know everything from how I do my make-up routine, to what clothes I like, to where I like to shop, what foods we eat and what we like about each other.
"We're just answering all those questions on TikTok so people can hear it directly from us and give a more accurate reflection of truth."
The couple spoke of the fame arising from the show.
"We don't want to lose our true compass of what we're passionate about in life and fame is definitely not one of them," Jacqui said.
"It (fame) is a lot to deal with and it's not something that we actually find rewarding at all, it's the other things like being able to work with charities and businesses.
"We also hope to do like golf charity events and maybe raise some money for charity as well and try to make the world a better place."
The couple have joint business ventures online.
"Jacqui's got a jewellery business off the back of MAFS which has been going quite well and we have online golf apparel," Clint said.
"So our lives now are kind of like focused on social media business."
Jacqui is also involved with the Cameo video sharing website where people pay for personalised messages.
"We both also, particularly me, spend our days making Cameos for people," she said.
"That's quite fun because we get to connect with fans and do happy birthdays through Cameo."
Meanwhile Clint is teaching Jacqui to play golf.
"We've gone to the golf course a few times Clint teaching me how to play golf and I've got on my swing up to 136 m now with a seven iron," Jacqui said.
"We've got a golf simulator at home so spend my days practising on the golf swings."
"We love just hanging out at home with the dogs and we love drinking red wine and playing tennis."
